FASHION CHALLENEGE! Yesterday was the best day of my fashion life. I am so grateful to have been invited to witness the spectacle that is Fashion Week. It was amazing. Amazing!!! AMAZING!!!
The outfit was a bit tricky. I started with the coat and to make it a little “different” I rolled up the sleeved and did some criss cross action with the belt. Made it look “fancy.” Then the blouse mix matched with the pants felt sort of menswear. I considered the slush factor still looming about New York City - patent leather is water proof, right? (I have no idea) Truth be told I’ve been looking through the street style sites and it seems like you can be a little more nuts during fashion week, or maybe all of the nuts are in one bowl so you feel a little less nutty yourself. Anyway, you know you have on a good outfit when you get photographed outside the tents, inside the tents and then a stranger stops you on the street to high five.
